Dr. Raquel Hernandez

MD, MPH, FAAP

Clinical Director, Blueberry Balance

Dr. Hernandez is a pediatrician with 18 years of experience and a certified obesity medicine specialist who approaches pediatric obesity as a public health expert, clinical investigator, and advocate working to change how this complex condition is understood and treated. She loves working with teens—and as a mom of three teens herself, partners closely with families to be their kids' best cheerleaders.

Dr. Powers is a pediatrician with 23 years of experience and a specialty in pediatric obesity medicine. She is passionate about improving teens' metabolic health and overall well-being through compassionate, evidence-based care. Teens are at an exciting stage of life, and she finds them resilient and adaptable. She believes that the right support at this age can have a lasting impact.

Linzy Ziegelbaum

REGISTERED DIETICIAN

Linzy is a pediatric dietitian with 13 years of experience. She helps families turn nutrition challenges into practical strategies that fit busy schedules. Teens are her favorite to work with. She loves teaching them to fuel their bodies to feel their best.

Ryan Chandlall

FITNESS & WELLNESS COACH

Ryan brings 10 years of coaching focused on habits that last. He makes his biggest impact with families, helping parents and teens build shared routines. His favorite part is watching a teen's confidence grow as exercise becomes something they want to do.

We built Balance out of personal experience

For us, this is personal. Many of us here at Blueberry have struggled with unhealthy obesity and the medical consequences that come with it. As kids, we remember the toll it took on our mental health, how it felt trying everything and not being able to lose weight or live healthy.
