Eligibility & Availability
Who is eligible for Blueberry Balance?
Blueberry Balance is for teens ages 12 to 17 whose BMI is at or above the 95th percentile for their age and sex, and who live in one of the states where available. A board-certified pediatrician reviews each teen to determine overall clinical fit, so an elevated BMI on its own does not guarantee eligibility. Teens currently covered by Medicaid are not eligible at this time, and certain medical conditions can affect eligibility, which weassess during a comprehensive pre-screening conducted by our clinical team

Medication Expectations
Is medication guaranteed if my teen joins Balance?
No. Joining Balance does not guarantee medication. A board-certified pediatrician evaluates your teen to decide whether a GLP-1 medication is the right clinical fit, and elevated BMI alone does not mean it will be prescribed. Either way, your teen receives holistic care, including support from an in-house registered dietitian and an exercise specialist or health coach, plus ongoing monitoring.
